Our story
Hand Poured With Love
We pour natural coconut wax, by hand, in small batches, from our studio in Naples, Florida.
A candle is only as good as the hour you spend not rushing it.
Ten to fourteen days curing, every batch
The wax
Coconut wax burns slower and cleaner than paraffin, and it carries fragrance without the soot. It is softer to work with, slower to set, and it costs more, which is a large part of why most mass-produced candles are not made from it.
For a studio pouring a few dozen vessels at a time, that trade is worth making. We finish every candle with a cotton wick, no lead and no zinc core, so what fills the room is the fragrance and nothing else.
Our pour
Fragrance oil goes into melted coconut wax at temperature, so the scent binds into the wax instead of burning off the top.
Poured by hand, a few dozen vessels at a time. Wicks are set and centred while the wax is still soft.
Ten to fourteen days resting before anything is lit. Curing is what gives a coconut wax candle its reach across a room.
Each vessel is trimmed, labelled and boxed by hand before it leaves the studio.
From the studio
Heavenly Divine began with a simple frustration, that the scents we wanted for our own home were not the ones on the shelf. Everything sweet was too sweet. Everything tropical smelled like a candle pretending to be fruit.
So we started pouring our own. Passion Fruit and Pineapple was the first blend worth keeping, and it is still the one most people come back for. Every scent since has had to clear the same bar, bright without being sugary, strong enough to fill a room, and honest about what it is.
We are still small on purpose. Small enough that someone here has held every candle that ships.
